About Bradford Combined Court Centre

Bradford Combined Court Centre opened in 1993 and was designed by architects Napper Collerton in a distinctive Modernist style. The building houses eleven courtrooms and operates as both a Crown Court and a County Court, replacing the older arrangement under which the city’s most serious criminal cases were tried at Bradford City Hall, with the lengthiest sentences passed at Leeds Town Hall. The court’s official Crown Court location code is 402 and its County Court code is 141. It has hosted a number of high-profile West Yorkshire trials, including the 2007 conviction of Ronald Castree for the 1975 murder of Lesley Molseed — a case that ultimately exonerated the late Stefan Kiszko.
