Leicester Crown Court is the senior criminal court for Leicestershire, sitting on Wellington Street in the city centre and forming part of the Midland Circuit. The court hears indictable-only and either-way criminal matters committed for trial or sentence from Leicester Magistrates' Court and the wider county, alongside appeals against conviction and sentence from the magistrates.
